Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry strives to teach 7th through 12th grade youths how to apply God's words in their daily lives through worship, small group Bible study, and various educational programs. The youths learn that a Christian character is developed by having a sincere relationship with God, and a healthy personal relationship with others.

The church organizes and provides various resourceful and creative activities which helps each youth learn how to use his or her God-given talents to become a valuable contributor to the church, and to our society.

Every Sunday, the youths participate in an inspired youth-group worship service, centered on praise, Biblical messages, and fellowship with God and one another. Following the worship service, the youths also attend Sunday Bible studies, which are grouped by grade-level and focus primarily on books and passages from the Bible (see Christian Education section below for further information).

Youth group fellowship is held approximately twice a month (usually on Saturdays). These fellowships consist of various activities and events (e.g. Praise nights, hiking trips, community services, etc.), and are designed to help the youths solidify their relationship with God and learn how to love and serve one another and their community.

Every summer, the youth group members also attend a retreat, which is also centered around Biblical messages and lessons. Through the retreat, they have an opportunity to learn how build their Christian character and spend more committed time with God.
