Korean Language School

The Korean Language school offers Korean language classes every Sunday before worship service.

It is to provide children, born as a Korean-American and raised in a multi-cultural society, the unbiased understanding of their cultural heritage and ethnic identity so that they could understand their parents and positively appreciate the benefits of a multi-cultural society. Through this education, we hope they will amount to be harmonious Christians with a desirable cross-cultural understanding.

Students are grouped by minimal number(less than 10 students) considering their ages and proficiency of Korean language. The primary text book is the “Korean” series which is specially developed for Korean Second generation people who live in foreign countries, and published by the Korean Ministry of Education.

The church holds educational events such as Korean Cultural Day which provides good opportunities for children to learn Korean culture in tangible forms by involving in folk games, wearing traditional costumes, trying traditional cuisine, listening to traditional music, trying traditional calligraphy, or watching ancient pictures.

Let your children come to this school, and grow in mature and open-minded faith in this multicultural society with the great help of qualified teachers.
